Nathan is another regular whom has been a part of the Six O'clock Swill since the beginning.

headshotNathan is an old hand, playing 'Gerry' in 'Cow' by Jo Randerson at Swill #1, and having a part in several since, most recently as 'Walter' in 'The Listeners' by Jane Martin in March. For the May Swill, Nathan had his debut directing 'Sure Thing' by David Ives, with Mel Dodge and David Allen.

He played 'Ippolit' in 'Doestoevsky Trip' by Vladimir Sorokin at Happy for Fringe 08' and devised a musical cabaret style show, 'The zibidee Show' for Fringe 07' including writing and performing music.

He first acted as a child appearing in Stagecraft Theatre's production of 'On Golden Pond' as 'Billy' in 1984 at the age of 10. Since then he has taken part in many various acting classes in Wellington and Auckland, as well as amateur productions including 'The Elephant Man' as 'John Merrick', a Young and Hungry season at Bats in 1995, 2 TV commercials directed by Lee Tamahori, a professional Tango show at Bat's devised by David Backler and a University play directed by Duncan Sarkies alongside 'Flight of the Conchords' Brett and Germaine, Taika Cohen and others. Having taken a hiatus from acting to pursue a career in protesting and changing the world, including a return to Stagecraft theatre handcuffed to the balcony.. he finds the best way to 'change the world' is through being creative and doing what you love..
