Auditions for the December season of the Six O'clock Swill will be held on SATURDAY 15 NOVEMBER from 12-3pm at Mighty Mighty.
Season dates:
Wednesday 10, Thursday 11 & Saturday 13 December 6pm.
We are casting for:
INVITATION TO A FUNERAL by Julia McKee
Prior to expiring, a deadbeat ex-hippie sent a memo to his former wives inviting them to his funeral, and two of the women on the rather long list happen to meet at the open-coffin viewing.
Casting breakdown:
SHIRLEY, 30-40's. Housewife, mother, blue collar worker. Working class. Bitter, competitive. Tough as nails. Whatever the the departed wants, she wants the opposite. Determined to thwart. Discovers she still has feelings for him.
JOYCE, 30-40's. Housewife, mother, blue collar worker. Working class. Bright, bubbly, a little naive, looks on the bright side. Afraid to look death in the face. Discovers she wasn't loved.

Three restaurant guys seek love amidst the clutter of food cans, life, manhood and rope.
Casting breakdown:
BILL, thirty. He is monosyllabic, articulate when he needs to be. Suave.
TOM, he is slightly younger, more 'ragtag' than BILL, shorter. He is a busboy rather than a waiter; perhaps has a ponytail and a look in his eye that could make someone cross to the other side of the street. But underneath it all he is quite lovable.
RICK, he is about eight years older than BILL, balding, perhaps has a bad moustache, and a beer and french fries gut.
